Dave has been working for Link Leisure on and off for 13 years. He has been involved in a variety of activities with the charity, from play schemes and befriending, to instructing canoeing and taking part in events and fundraising.

Dave joins us for a one year project as a Sports and Activities Development Project Worker. In this role he will look at developing new groups to cater for the demand for sports and activities across the age groups.

Lesley Pitt, General Manager says: "We are so pleased to have Dave on the team- it is an exciting time for the charity and we have great hopes for the future. Dave's new role means he can focus on improving the sporting side of our services and can help our members to achieve more in this area."

Dave will be visiting groups soon, and will be hoping to talk to you all to find out what sports and activities you are interested in doing!

So keep your eyes peeled for the man in shorts, whatever the weather!
