This September Link Leisure joined up with Woking Mencap to go on holiday to Croyde Bay in North Devon.  10 Link Leisure adult members enjoyed a week away in Croyde Bay Holiday Park with 300 others from Mencap groups from all over the South of England.  It was a fantastic week with activities every minute of the day including line dancing, football, swimming, crazy golf, entertainment, bingo, Jay the clown, various tournaments, sports day, cabaret, discos and even a performance from Elvis Presley!  We also spent time on the beach, swimming and rock pooling, and a day at The Big Sheep learning about shearing, horse whispering and cheering the sheep race on!

We stayed in lovely chalets and had a week of constant partying and late nights!  One of our group celebrated his 21st birthday whilst on holiday so we enjoyed champagne at the disco that night!  There was so much to do and we met so many other people.  We hope to go back next year to see friends and enjoy another week away from home!

It was a very tiring holiday and we all fell asleep at any chance we had! Check out the photos below of us all sleeping!  Lucky there was someone always awake to take a photo!!  As you can see below, even our mini bus driver wanted in on the sleeping fun!!
