ADULT ACTIVITIES
Group Leader: Gavin Kitchen Time: Monday evenings
The group meet at the sports centre where some have a swimming lesson. They then head into town where they do a variety of activities such as having a meal, bowling, a trip to the theatre, going to the pub and going to see the latest film at the cinema! The group are supported in developing independent skills in the community and forming friendships.
Time: Monday and Thursday evenings
The group do a wide range of activities including swimming, visiting a social group, badminton, bowling, theatre, out door activities whilst being supported in the community and to develop friendships.
Group Location: Woking Time: Thursday evenings
This group gives young adults the opportunity to access the community, develop friendships and plan their own activities with a low level of support. (click on Kat's head to see photos of the group!)
Group Leader: Wendy Gibson Location: West End Time: Tuesday evenings A fun swim session in which up to 15 members attend. They can have a free swim or have support in improving their swimming technique.
Location: Woking Time: Wednesday evenings
Dancing and karaoke night run by and for young adults with learning disabilities. There are up to 45 members that come along and they can dance, chill out, play pool, chat, sing and make friends.
Location: Woking Time: Thursdays evenings Up to 20 adults take part in sporting activities including basketball, team skill games and individual sports.
Location: Woking Time: TO BE CONFIRMED A combination of drama workshops and productions. The group develop drama skills with tutors from Scarab Theatre Co. and work on speech, mime and movement, confidence, group skills and put on productions in front of large audiences.
Location: Quake Nightclub Time: Specific Saturdays 7-11pm A club night in Quake nightclub, Woking for adults in the
community with a learning disability. You do not have to be a member of
Link Leisure to come along and party to the fun music played by our DJ and meet
